CoMo Preservation’s mission is to preserve the historic architecture of Columbia, Missouri.

Step back in time and explore the story of Columbia's 1901 City Hall. Once home to city offices, police department, and the first fire station, this historic building later became a hub for commerce and community services. Stephen Bybee, Chair of the city's Historic Preservation Commission, will highlight its unique architecture, notable tenants, and lasting impact on Columbia's history. Celebrate the preservation of this architectural treasure and its role in shaping our city’s heritage!

This approximate 2-mile, 2-hour stroll through downtown CoMo provides an engineer's perspective on bricks in Columbia: A discussion of the what, how and why of Columbia's brick streets, brick making, and brick construction.
